Oceanic Probe Hlc QLR3 BC

The Oceanic Probe HLC is cross between a traditional style BCD with integrated weights and a backlift BC thanks to a new high capacity hybrid bladder.
 
The hybrid bladder allows for much better balance and trim during the dive, acting very much like a donut wing with complete air flow. This helps to keep the diver horizontal at all times. When on the surface, however, a wing has a tendency to tip divers forward whereas the Probe HLC allows air to flow into the side pocket areas to provide vertical stability. When completely deflated the bladder retracts within itself to reduce drag.
 
The Probe HLC incorporates Oceanic's QLR3 integrated weight system which allows easy storage and quick removal of approximately 10kg of weight. The pocket handles are flexible to prevent accidental damage or snapping and also to help prevent snagging.
 
A large zipped storage pocket can be found on either side of the BCD with a knife attachment grommets on both sides for convenient fitting of an oceanic BCD kinfe. A large pre-bent d-ring on both shoulder straps and two standard d-rings are fitted above both side pockets to provide ample fixing points for accessories.
 
The harness system uses traditional adjustable quick buckles on the chest (also includes a whistle), shoulders and waist straps to ensure a comfortable, snug fit and a depth compensating velcro band helps to maintain the required tightness at any depth. A full rigid backplate which includes a tought handle at the top for carrying your system is covered by a comfortable pad to provide spine protection and lumber support.
 
Deflation is handles using a right shoulder pull dump, left shoulder pull dump activated by puling on the inflator assembly, rear right kidney dump with rear toggle and deflation button on the inflator assembly.
 
The rear of the BCD has a traction pad built into the backplate to help prevent the cylinder slipping once it becomes wet. The cylinder is held in place by a traditional cam strap which has a trim pocket on either side that will each take approximately 2kg to allow for balancing.
