I purchased this SPG to streamline my equipment after changing to an air integrated computer- I have a backup computer + compass for depth/time/nav, so it didn't seem necessary to continue using a large & heavy 3 unit console (pressure/depth/compass). This SPG is always accurately in-sync with my Suunto air-integrated computer, small enough that it easily clips out of the way staying streamlined, and super easy to read. I did a lot of shopping around and while yes, this one is not the 'cheapest' it is certainly worth a bit extra for the quality. Always pleased with HOG products! |

Cancelled Order After 1 Month Of Waiting
Absolutely terrible dive shop. Made an order on December 16th, 2020 and my order was not shipped until December 28th 2020. I understand there was a backorder, so they were nice enough to try to send me a different model polespear. Was told it would be shipped out on December 21st, although it was shipped out on the 28th. It is January 11th, 2021. I was finally reached out by email after contacting the store 3 different times. The email pretty much said, sorry, don't know what happened. Were just going to cancel your order and refund you I appreciate the refund (which better mean I should have my funds back in my account within a couple days and not a month long), but after waiting a month and being told they would just cancel my order? That is ridiculous to me. There was absolutely no effort to get me my order. Diver supply clearly does not want to keep me around for business, or I would imagine they would try even just a drop harder to try and cater to their customers.<br>I honestly think a simple solution would be if Diver supply would own up to their faults and ship me a new package and get me my order ASAP after almost a month of waiting. Pretty bad dive shop and I will definitely not be ordering from diver supply ever again.
In fact, I will make the effort to make sure every single diver I know never orders from the this shop, ever. |

I work for Apple and we really value customer feedback so i wanted to take a minute to reach out to you concerning my recent purchase. I SCUBA dove for 4 years when i was way younger and got my Advanced Open Water certification when i was 16. I dove for 4 years until 20 then stopped diving when i moved to California. Who would have imagined 30 years later i would get back into SCUBA diving? I was invited for mini lobster season and remembered how much I loved being under water. Needless to say, i decided to buy equipment right away since i hate borrowing stuff. I just want to take a minute to commend your staff for the amazing customer service i received from day 1. I was helped by Colton (i think thats his name) initially and he gave me a complimentary upgrade on the dive computer since mine was back ordered for over 10 days. Then I dealt with Jerry since I needed to exchange my BCD. He was amazing and sent me a replacement right away and personally made it a point to refund my returned BCD the very next day after it was returned. I was so impressed with the service that I referred you guys to my buddy who also bought a diving package and was also upgraded to a 3 gauge diving computer by Tammy since his 2 gauge on the package was backordered. Another example of great customer service. <br>I just wanted to give you all 2 thumbs up for the amazing service and wish you had a Divers Supply down in Miami or Florida Keys so I could also shop there locally. How could you have a dive shop in Jacksonville Florida and not in South Florida, one of the best diving destinations in the world? <br>The only thing i wished was that you honored rewards points for members on online orders as I've spent over $1,200 in the past couple of weeks and could have used a couple of free bucks to spend on you on my next purchase :) <br>Anyways, Jerry and Colton were absolutely amazing and my buddy also got great service from Tammy. I was torn between this regulator and a few other larger brand models, I have no regrets and I love this reg. The first stage is built very tough, although it is a bit heavy. The second stages are simple and very easy to use and clean. From cold water to the pool this reg has never let me down and it breaths like a dream. The edge gauge is nice and compact with easy to read displays. Divers Supply was fast and friendly to answer my questions and ship, awesome place. |
