I don’t normally review a lot of stuff but dive equipment is an exception, First and foremost I will say that Divers Supply is super amazing when it comes to shipping an item Fast ! Ordered on. Saturday and got it on a Monday, other online retailers let me order this without informing me it was back ordered, so Kudos to Divers Supply! After starting out with an Atomic Frameless mask , which is super finicky on how it fits, then moving on to a framed mask like my Cressi Big eyes evolution, which fit much better. Then tried this one on and got in the water with it. It fits my medium face much better and isn’t as picky as to how it fits as the other others, very easy , no leaks ! -none. , the red/orange tint is super nice for our green tinted waters on the gulf coast, especially if you spearfish. Your eyes cannot be seen as easy. This also helps the glare from the sun above the water, however the tint doesn’t really darken things under water, This is a good all around , well fitting mask for a medium face, my only minor complaint is the strap is kinda thin. The skirt was Uber soft and it has tempered glass lenses . |

Started Good But Poor Quality Gear And After Sales Service - Won't Be Using Them Again!
We ordered 2 Sea Elite Scuba Gear Value System sets of BCD and Regs. We are in the Middle East and it took longer to get to us than advertised (largely because they selected a UPS service that does not exist to here) but no great deal. Unfortunately, the first stage regulator on one set went 'freeflow' after only 2 weeks diving. The issue was a loose/broken return spring inside the reg that couldn't be fixed where we were. We had to buy a replacement. A few days later the pressure gauge on the same set also failed. It stopped reading correctly and even with no pressure was still indicating a few hundred PSI. We contacted Divers-Supply (only via online chat as they seem to refuse to respond to emails) and after a while they agreed to send a new gauge. I said there was little point sending a new Reg as we had already bought one and it may be better to provide some compensation towards this purchase. When the new gauge arrived we incurred customs fees which, whilst we had been happy to pay the first time, we felt we should not have to pay this time. I have since lost count of the attempts to contact Divers-Supply to ask for a refund of the customs fees and compensation for the Regulator all of which they have singularly failed to respond to. I have no choice but to seriously question the quality of the gear they supply, their Quality Control and their after sales / complaints process. All a little shabby unfortunately! |
