Sea Elite Slimline 2- Global Console

This Global instrument has imperial measurements on the outer dial and metric measurements on the inner dial. A Compact 2 gauge Global Console built small and compact for less drag and weight in a streamlined rubber shock-resistant boot. The display is crisp easy to read numbers for tank pressure and depth, 5000 (PSI) and 350 Bar for Tank pressure, and 220 feet and 67 meters for depth gauge with a built in maximum depth indicator.

The SeaElite Scout compact regulator is an unbalanced second stage, while the SeaElite Covert is a balanced second stage.

We advise purchasing a size Large Sea Elite Scout BCD based on your body measurements.

I am looking to get my rescue cert over the summer and wanted to get my own gear. I dive with my family around 45 feet but go on deeper dives when I am diving with friends (90-110 ft). Would you think this would be a good set to buy? Also, I noticed that you said the regulators are unbalanced, would there be any issue diving on unbalanced regulators when I am diving around 100 feet?

Hi Preston, I would recommend upgrading the regulator in the package to the Covert Regulator and Octopus! These are Balanced 1st and 2nd Stages that will perform much better at the deeper depth for you.

Can I take off one of the mouth pieces if I’m just using one tank of O2?

I live in Idaho and will do most of my diving in cold water here and on the Oregon coast. Would the covert upgrade handle the cold water or would you suggest the hog D1X 1st and 2nd stage regulators? Thank you.

Hi Luiz, thank you for your question on the Scuba Gear Value System Package. The BCD is a jacket style. In this package you have the option to chose from two regulators. The Sea Elite Scout Compact Regulator is unbalanced but the Sea Elite Covert Env Regulator is sealed and balanced. Where on your site can I find the size chart for the BCD? I am 5'3" and my daughter is 5'7". We would share it as it will be left on the boat for when who needs it at different times. I am 140 lbs and she is about 145 lbs. Our waist is about 29-30 inches. What do you recommend, for each or one that can work for both? Thanks.

Regulator, Safe second(octo), Gauge and inflator all connect to the Regulator 1st stage each with its own hose.

Great package deal! Quick question though: I’ve been diving up to 65ft flawlessly but I’m planning on diving deeper, closer to the 100/120ft range. Will this regulator still work at those depths?? Thanks.

Not sure which regulator you selected with the package however, yes both regulators will work at that depth however the Nano is un-balanced and with not breath as easily as the Balanced Covert.

Im 6'3" and approx 340 but going down would this be a good set up that will accommodate the diminishing me!

You can upgrade the package to the Sea Elite Covert Regulator it is a Balanced first and second stage Regulator. If you want a balance Octo also then choose the Hog Zenith it is Balanced and we have them both in Stock ( The Hog Rec/Tek Octo is also balanced but currently is out of stock for a week or 2).

Does this package come with a tank?

IS the SeaElite Scout BCD in this package comfortable for women, assuming I follow the size chart? I have also seen BCD's specifically for females, but they are more expensive. I was wondering if there is any actual difference other than the "cute" colors for females. Thank You

Hi Steven, thanks for your question. The Sea Elite Scout BCD can be used by both men and women, and following the size chart should lead to a comfortable experience. To answer your second question, there are differences between BCDs specifically designed for women. They are usually cut differently, similar to how a woman's wetsuit is cut differently than a man''s. I assume you mean traveling by airline? If so not at all we use this same package in our Rental program and have customers that take it all over the word for dive trips.

When upgrading the regulator to the Covert, will I get both the (balanced) Covert-type 1st and 2nd stages? Also, what would roughly be the estimated travel weight of the package?

The Scout BCD with this package includes a nice hard contoured polymer back-plate that is padded with a nice embossed removable pad. It has 3 dumps that can be seen in one of the photos in this link to the BCD : https://www.divers-supply.com/sea-elite-scout-bcd.html the Dumps are located top left and top right with the 3rd on the lower right.

My waist size is a 31-32, slender/athletic build (falling on either side of the size chart).. Would you recommend a small or medium BCD?

Hello, I will be getting my scientific diving certification this spring so I am looking to purchase my own gear. As a college student I am limited by price but obviously I would like to invest in high quality and prioritize safety. What are the advantages of upgrading the regulator set and octopus to the Edge Nano? In contrast, are there any limitations to the SeaElite RX330 and SX30? Thanks!

Hello! Thank you for your questions! The Edge Nano is a more compact regulator. The Edge Nano and the Sea Elite RX330 are both unbalanced regulators, but they preform about the same. The Sea Elite has an upgrade called the Sea Elite Covert. Either way you go, you're getting a great deal on some great gear.

According to the size chart for the Sea Elite Scout BCD in this package, the XS (smallest size) BCD best fits someone 5'0" - 5'5" tall, 100-125lbs, 26-36in chest, and 23-27in waist. However, as size charts are guides, the best way to know for sure if this BCD will fit would be to stop by one of our retail locations and try one on. I hope this helps! is this package good for nitrox use too? also do the BCDs run small? i usually wear and xsmall BCD but size chart says to go for the small?

Yes all the regulator options in the Scuba Gear Value System Package can be used with nitrox. For the Sea Elite scout BCD to fit properly its best to go by the waist and adjust the shoulder straps accordingly.
